FAQ
Answers about ordering, materials, care, authenticity, and purchasing Enoch Michael jewelry.
Orders & Shipping
When will my order ship?
Orders are usually shipped the next business day with tracking. In certain peak times, orders may ship within 3 business days. Custom order shipping timelines are confirmed directly before purchase or by email.
Can I track my order?
Tracking information is emailed once your order is sent to the carrier. Allow up to 24 hours for the carrier to update their tracking system after receiving your 'order shipped' email.
Can I order a piece that is out of stock?
Due to variations in stone color, matrix, and quality, one of a kind items cannot be replicated exactly. Certain coin jewelry may be replicated and is offered by pre-order or made-to-order availability when possible
Returns & Exchanges
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Yes. Eligible pieces may be returned within 30 days if they are unworn, unaltered, and returned in original condition. Custom work, resized pieces, and final sale items are not eligible for return unless there is a defect. To begin a return, contact info@enochmichael.com before sending the piece back.
Do your products have a warranty?
Enoch Michael pieces are backed by a lifetime workmanship warranty. This covers defects in construction under normal wear. It does not cover loss, accidental damage, improper care, stone breakage, or alterations made by another jeweler. Contact info@enochmichael.com with photos and a description of the issue.
Do you offer gift packaging?
Each piece is presented to reflect the care and craftsmanship behind the work. Rings and earrings are provided with jewelry boxes, while larger creations are packaged in a manner that ensures their safe arrival and preserves their presentation. Packaging may vary depending on the size and nature of the piece.

Product
What kind of metals do you use?
Most Enoch Michael jewelry is made with sterling silver, fine silver, coin silver, and high karat gold. Metal content is listed in each product description, including any mixed metal details or special materials used in a specific piece.
Do you use any treated or stabilized turquoise?
Each product description identifies known stone details when available. Enoch Michael prioritizes natural turquoise sourced from trusted miners, lapidary artists, and reputable dealers. Some stones, especially larger or older cabochons, may be backed or stabilized for durability. Any known treatment is disclosed in the listing.
Is Enoch Michael Native owned?
Yes. Enoch Michael is Native owned and artist operated by Enoch Platero, a Navajo silversmith based in Utah. All pieces are hallmarked with "Enoch M. Platero" along with metal quality stamp(s).
Jewelry Care
How should I care for my jewelry?
Store your jewelry in its box or a soft pouch when it is not being worn. Keep it away from water, perfume, lotion, household cleaners, and polishing dips. After wearing, gently wipe the piece with a soft cloth before storing it. Turquoise, shell, coral, and other natural materials should be treated with care, since heat, moisture, and chemicals can affect their surface over time.
Can turquoise get wet?
Turquoise should be kept dry whenever possible. Brief contact with water is usually not cause for concern, but turquoise should never be soaked, worn while bathing, or cleaned with liquid jewelry solutions. If the stone becomes damp, pat it dry with a soft cloth and allow it to air dry fully before storing.
Can silver & gold patina over time?
Yes. Silver naturally darkens with air, wear, and time. This change is part of the character of the metal. Some pieces are intentionally finished with patina to bring out depth, texture, and form. Use a soft silver polishing cloth only on raised silver surfaces, and avoid polishing directly over stones, shell, or intentionally darkened areas. Do not use chemical jewelry cleaners, polishing dips, or ultrasonic cleaning machines, as they can damage natural materials and alter intentionally oxidized finishes.
Do you offer cleaning or repair?
Cleaning and repair requests are reviewed individually. Enoch Michael pieces are made to be worn and cared for over time, but service depends on the condition of the piece, the materials used, and the type of work required. Email info@enochmichael.com with clear photos and a description of the issue before sending any jewelry for review.
