When people search for turquoise jewelry, they’re looking for color, story, and quality. They want rare pieces that speak to them on a personal level. Enoch Michael creates each turquoise ring and pair of earrings by hand, using fine stones and silver to shape lasting collectibles.

What Sets Navajo Turquoise Jewelry Apart

Good turquoise carries weight as a material that ties the Southwest to collectors everywhere. Natural turquoise from mines like Sleeping Beauty, Lone Mountain, and Royston is prized for its hardness and color that stands the test of time.

Navajo turquoise jewelry personifies a dedication to craft, attention to detail, and a mastery of techniques. At Enoch Michael, each bezel, rope, or drop of silver is hand-fabricated. No cast parts. This makes every ring and pair of earrings feel personal.

My Process: How I Make Turquoise Rings and Earrings

I work from raw sterling silver, melting and rolling it to the right gauge. Bezels are cut to fit each stone, and at times, stamps are added to a decorative bezel. If the stamps don't align, I re-start the process until the stamps come together in a seamless join so there are no partial patterns. Cones, jump rings, and beads are formed by hand. It’s a slower way to work, but it means every piece sits secure and balanced.

For earrings, weight matters. They should feel present but not pull. I shape each ear wire to hold the drop just below the lobe so the turquoise catches light but stays steady.

How to Care for Handmade Turquoise Jewelry

Turquoise is a softer stone. Store your rings and earrings in separate cloth pouches to avoid scratches. Keep them dry when you can. A gentle polish cloth brings back the silver’s brightness without removing its patina. With care, your turquoise jewelry will last for generations.

From My Bench to You

Each piece I make is meant to live a life: worn, gifted, or passed down. If you’re ready to choose one for yourself or someone you love, explore my current collection.
